We have grown up eating chinese food with family. While we grew up on Indo-Chinese "Bercos" type places, we have always been exploring something similar yet more classy. Just reading the menu one would know, this is not your regular Chinese restaurant. We really wanted to try their "Dishes in a bowl" concept. Overall Rating 4.5/5 !!
Final word: This is pure Nirvana. Has to be one of our all time favourite places for chinese food. Totally recommended! Costs around Rs 500 per head without alcohol.
Why me might go again: The chinese styled peanuts they serve as a sort of welcome snack are out of this world. They can be best described as sweet szechuan pepper flavoured heaven. Reason enough to go again and again. Not to say that the food isn't superb - The kung pao chicken starter was interestingly creamy yet crispy, and the crispy fried veggies tasted so fresh. The szechuan gravy on steamed rice, and the black bean chicken on wheat noodles were especially good.
Why we might not go again: Really hard to find anything wrong with this place. The concept of a one dish vs. gravy and rice/noodles separately might not appeal to some. We loved it tho!
Final word: This is pure Nirvana. Has to be one of our all time favourite places for chinese food. Totally recommended! Costs around Rs 500 per head without alcohol.
