We have sort of been following a rule over the last few months - that special occasions demand special home-made sweets. One such occasion was our Dad's 60th Birthday, and to show our love, respect, and gratitude, we decided to make these healthy ladoos. He just loves sweets and also dry fruits, however, is increasingly getting health conscious. So we decided to make this all natural, zero sugar ladoo with all the goodness needed in these Delhi winters.
Ingredients: (makes around 12 – 15 ladoos)
1. Dry roast all dry fruits till golden brow
2. Coarsely grind them in a mixer / grinder
3. Grind dates and fig in the mixer and make a rough paste
4. Take 1 tbsp ghee in pan and cook the dates and figs mixture for about 5-10 minutes or until they absorb most of the ghee
5. Then add ground nuts to the pan and keep stirring for 5 mins till it starts coming together
6. Remove the mix from gas and let it cool down
7. Roll the mix into small balls and ladoos are ready
