Asia Kitchen, Hauz Khas Village

A nice Chinese restaurant with an expansive menu including Thai dishes as well as some duck and sea food dishes. However, the execution is merely average with pockets of brilliance. Overall Rating: 3/5

Why we wanted to visit: When you have a family super crazy about Chinese food, there will hardly be any Chinese restaurant not tried. We were roaming on a pleasant Delhi evening in the bustling HKV with family and this, being one of the more typical Chinese restaurant in the area, was an obvious choice.

Why we might go again: Their chicken Pad-thai was really very good (not in pictures). Probably the reason why we gave it a rating above 2.5. It came wrapped in a super thin omelette and they served chillies and peanuts on the side along with a lemon wedge. Probably not very authentic but immensely flavourful. The clear soups were very nice as well.

Why we might not go again: The preparations of most dishes was good, but Nothing really came which had us exclaiming - yummy!! The quality was nothing special for the price that you pay here - the duck main course we ordered was one of those things.

Final Word: Let's just summarize by saying that this place is not value for money. Go here only if you are in HKV and want to eat something standard. It cost us Rs 650 per head without alcohol (Soup, starters, and main course)
