Apple Iced Green Tea

We have been awaiting the Monsoon showers for quite a while now. There have been some sporadic rains but that has only led to a more sultry weather. In this tiresome weather, the only respite is from drinking as many refreshing drinks as possible. Presenting a unique mocktail here that will surely energize you in any season but more so in these hot, humid days!

Ingredients (For 2 glasses)

2 green tea bags
2-3 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp lemon juice
300 ml apple juice
2 tsp sugar (optional)

Method

1. Boil around 200 ml along with cinnamon sticks and sugar (if using).

2. Take it off the heat once the water has boiled and add the green tea bags.

3. Let the water cool and  the tea flavour to come out for a about 15 minutes.

4. Strain the cinnamon sticks and tea bags and add the water to other ingredients in a cocktail shake filled with lots of ice.

5. Serve chilled!!
