Chunky Monkey Ice Cream

There is something irresistible about chocolate and ice cream. They go well together so much that they can come in any form and everyone still loves it - from the hot chocolate fudge to the ice cream and brownie sundae. Carrying on with this theme we made a very easy breezy dessert that is bound to be a big hit in your home parties this festival season.

We call it the Chunky Monkey Ice Cream!!

Ingredients (serves 7-10)
1L vanilla ice cream
2 walnut brownie squares from any standard bakery
1 small pack of Oreo cookies
1/2 cup walnuts roughly chopped
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 banana, cut in slices (optional - we skipped this)

You know where we're going with this, right?

Method

1. Melt vanilla in a bowl. Not completely too a liquid but just something that becomes more workable. Just let it sit outside the fridge for 10 - 15 min

2. Add walnuts, chocolate chips and crumbled brownie and cookies to ice cream and nix well. This process needs to be fast so that you are not incorporating a lot of moisture.

3. Put it in freezer over night for it to solidify properly.

Serve just like that or sprinkle brownie crumb and dash of chocolate sauce on 2 scoops of ice cream and serve!
