Aam Panna

Har Mausam Aam. Going by the no. of Mango recipes we have on our blog, one can make out our love for mangoes. And here it continues....

This is the most refreshing and traditional cooler in this summer heat. A zesty mix of raw mangoes and Indian spices. As they say, drinking this even cools the heart !



Ingredients (serves 10 - 12)

3 Raw Mangoes
1 cup fresh mint leaves
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp black salt
1 tsp roasted cumin
1 cup water



Method

1. Peel mangoes and scoop out the pulp.

2. Pressure cook pulp with 1 cup water - 3 to 4 whistles

3. Cool the pulp.

4. Grind pulp, mint leaves, sugar and salt (you may adjust salt and sugar as per your taste)

5. Add roasted cumin (roughly ground) to the mix and add chilled water to achieve desired consistency.
