Mango Orange Popsicles

In most parts of India, it is likely to be 40+ degrees outside. The summer is at its peak and it is a drag on the energy levels. The only thing to cheer about in this sweltering heat is the abundance of mangoes! And we had to create these popsicles, funnily known as lick lollies in India, to bring on some kiddish happiness !

Ingredients - Makes 6-8 popsicles based on size of the mould
3 Mangoes
2 Oranges
10 - 15 sprigs of fresh mint
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp icing sugar
Popsicle moulds

Method

1. Peel and take out all the pulp of mango. Grind it into smooth puree in a grinder

2. Squeeze fresh oranges to get pulpy fresh juice

3. Grind fresh mint in grinder

4. Mix all the ingredients well (adjust sugar as per taste)

5. Pour them into popsicle moulds and let them freeze for atleast 8 - 10 hours (preferably overnight)

Enjoy these delicious homemade ice candies all this summer!
