Spicy Mango Sangria

The only real respite from this sultry Indian summer is the availability of fresh juicy fruits. The king among them is of course the Mango! The other thing which summer brings, is chilled white wines. So we combined the best of both worlds and made this delicious Sangria. We further enhanced its flavours by infusing a little minty flavour into it and added a bit of spice.

Ingredients (For two big glasses)
White wine - 300ml (Sparkling is best, but Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc would work too)
Mango pulp - 1 big mango
Mint- 1 bunch
Granulated sugar - 2 tbsp
Tobasco - 3-4 drops

Shake it up

1. Pulp the mango using a mixer grinder to form a smooth paste.

2. Take cocktail mixer and add the mango pulp, mint leaves, sugar, and tobasco drops. Muddle the mixture with the side of a rolling pin or a muddler till the mixture combines well.

3. Add 6-8 ice cubes and white wine. Shake well and strain into a white wine glass or a tall goblin.

You may garnish it with a mint sprig. The subtle spice of tobasco goes very well with mint and mangoes. This drink is yum so be careful not to over-drink !
