Plum Juice

Monsoons are approaching Delhi but that rarely means a respite from the summer heat. As a few days are rain soaked, the others are summer scorched made worse with humidity. What is needed in this draining weather is keeping oneself hydrated. And what better way to do that through homemade delicious juices. Presenting one of our favorites and Mom's super recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 kg plum
Sugar
Rock salt
Roasted coarsely ground Cumin

Method

1. Thoroughly wash plums and de-seed them. Keep the skin on.

2. Grind the plums in a mixer.

2. Pass the pureed pulp through a sieve to get uniform pulp. You may use water to get max pulp.

3. Add sugar, salt, Cumin as per taste.

Serve chilled over ice
